@cbsnews: A sailor's loved ones welcomed him home with open arms after a record-long deployment aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. More than 4,500 sailors and Marines disembarked from the aircraft carrier in San Diego on Thursday after 321 days at sea.

I love seeing this. This is a glimpse of what it must have been like when my dad came off of deployment in the Navy and my mom was there waiting for him. My dad was in the Navy for 22 1/2 years retired as a lieutenant commander once my parents had my brother and I my dad went in to reserve so that he could stay home with us but several times a month he would have to go to training somewhere. He went into the Navy said they would help him pay to become a doctor and that’s exactly what he did. Thank you, sir, for your service.
