Hey!! The best advice I can give is to stay positive! What hits the hardest is leaving one house to go to the next on Christmas it feels like leaving one family to go to the other, but you get to creat twice the memories. Enjoy the time instead of being sad I know that is easier said then done, but it does get easier.

just remember that they don’t want this as much as you don’t, no parents want to be divorced or want to separate their children from them but keep an open mind to there point of view instead of blaming someone for what went “wrong”. the first one is always the hardest but it’s a feeling you never thought you would experience before but it’s nice knowing that your parents are prioritizing themselves and not staying with the wrong person to protect someone else. once the initial hurt goes away it’s nice to see how someone acts on their own and to make twice the memories and be loved by two homes instead of one

spend all of Thanksgiving with parent A, then wake up christmas morning at parent B's house. after you open all your presents and hung out and all, in the afternoon go to parent As house to spend time w them

Don’t stress to much about it. The first Christmas can be very stressful. It is definitely challenging but it’s not to bad. It really depends on how your parents split Christmas for example my parents do half and half. So I’m at my dads half the day and my moms half the day. Good luck love you

stay positive, and definitely try to look at the bright side of things, i know it’s hard but think of all of the good things, and you get two of that!!! like two family dinners, twice the memories, twice the hugs from relatives, and you get to spend one on one time with both of your parents which can be very nice and a good time to get closer. i know it’s hard, and trust me i’ve been there, my parents have been divorced for over a decade now and it def takes getting used to! but try to look at the bright side, and ofc my dms are open if you have any other questions!! or just want to talk

Be happy try not to think about it. I know it’s gonna feel like that’s all you can do but enjoy that. At least your parents are both there. I lost one of mine due to addiction three years ago.💖💖
