@dustinclark320: If my shift starts at 7:00, I’m ready to work at 7:00. Why should I give the company 30 minutes for free? 🤔 Who’s right, the worker or the foreman? 👇 #Construction #BlueCollar #SkilledTrades #ConstructionLife #creatorsearchinsights
That 30mins is for me to mentally prepare for all the B.s…

I use to be one that started earlier than my expected time. No more! They don’t see the good things you do. ONLY the bad!!!

I was one of those if you're not 30 minutes early you're late guys. But now I'm a walk in at 7 do just enough not to get fired guy, companies and management make good employees into mediocre employees

I show up at least twenty minutes early every day, go inside, do whatever I need to do to be ready to roll at start time. The whole "I'm not giving them thirty minutes of my life" is not the flex you think it is.

Technically you should be in your work space at 7. I’m fine with being in the parking lot at 7. If you work somewhere you have to physically clock in you can’t do that from your car at 6:59

You should be working at 7 on the dot. If you need to prep for the day before you work then you start prepping at 7.

I don’t care. My guys are usually telling their children or wives good morning and hoping they have a good day. I started their time at 7. A man knowing their family is safe works better
