yeah, a bunch of businesses do this because psychologically, you’re more likely to order from a business if you use their app versus not. there’s a weird brain reward system thing where you’ll continue buying from someone if you use their app. i think it’s because there’s less cognition when buying something without having to pull out a card or cash - you’re more likely to spend more money when it doesn’t feel like you are. that’s why other businesses, like jewel osco, mcdonald’s, etc, have cheaper prices on their apps vs in stores

I put the pictures backwards #learning. in store Double Whopper Jr. with cheese are $0.40 more each then on the app. 😁😁😁
