The tape reminds me of the 8 or 12 inch baseboards that my grandparents had in their old, old farmhouse.any years later I researched it and found that the larger the baseboards the more clout and social status a family had. That was not what happened in my grandparents house as they were cotton workers when in season and when not in season my grandma cooked for the school and my grandpa was the school janitor. Your electrical tape brought that memory up. Thank you!

Could you have run it under the door (like down to the ground then back up the baseboard)? Idk but that’s what my brain said instead of going up and over the door

Can u run the tape underneath the flooring where ur doors will be instead of up n over? If so that would allow u to continue before the doors arrive as well as conserve some tape. I mean no disrespect, I enjoy watching ur thought process with this project.
