You are so right! As a life long, hardcore feminist, I love men! I love them platonically, romantically, as a mom, as a wife, a daughter, a friend.. every which way. And It hurts to see the patriarchy hurt them to the degree that it does as well. It isolates them, punishes them for their emotions and for being human, it curbs their enthusiasm for life and love, it pushes them to competition, anger and violence and loneliness... It does the most damage to women, but it doesn't leave the men unscathed. And speaking up against is not hating men, it is wanting a better way for all of us.
