I work at dutch bros, and even though your drink may not look as appealing whenever you get a soda or a rebel, always ask for it with room if you're gonna put soft top with room means they automatically make it lite ice without topping it off with extra stuff. So it also means that when you put the straw in as the carbonation bursts through the soft top layer. It's not going to explode everywhere. or start drinking it out of the lid. Before you put a straw in it so that you can break that carbonation barrier a lot slower

I always warn my custies that get dirty sodas and with soft top too, that it will 100% explode as soon as you put in a straw! Give them napkins and everything 🙏🙏
