Unpopular truth: blocking visas won't make companies hire more Americans. They'll just offshore the jobs and hire the same talent overseas. And let's be honest, many of these roles can't be filled locally right now because of a real skills gap. Nobody wants to say it, but it's true. If we actually want to protect American jobs, invest in American workers. Fund education and upskilling, especially in the regions that have been left behind the longest. Underinvesting in education doesn't just hurt workers. It makes it easier for those in power to mislead them. 🤷🏾♀️
