I don’t know what it’s like to walk in your shoes, but I understand what you’re saying. I was a powerlifter as a teenager, and I barely recognize that girl. I can’t wrap my head around how small I was and how strong I was. But that’s the thing about life, we’re all on a journey of becoming who we are. It doesn’t matter if others can’t wrap their heads around our journey. If they can respect you, support you, and be your friend, that’s what matters.
