Came here to say it was trapped sound waves from history but it looks like people beat me to it! Especially if there is quartz veins. It can record sounds and it’s why quartz watches can keep time without a battery. Same theory why old train tunnels sometimes sound like trains coming through when they’re hasn’t been a train in 100 years. This is epic!

oh big homie thats so much cooler than a haunting, you're standing inside of an electromagnetic converter and that little alcove is effectively existing as a speaker, idk where the freq is coming from but its more likely than not a local AM public access radio station playing public access music, no matter what its neat as hell though :D
