I get why people are feeling this way, but if we send kids into prison as teens, they will come out in their 20's covered in tattoos, won't get hired for any good jobs, and will wind up back in jail within a year. Whatever the punishment isn, it needs to focus on rehabilitating them to try and have a normal adult life, not just adding more fuel to the prison pipeline.

Change the law. He needs to be handled. Current law is part of the ingredients that contribute to making the worst of people. This case alone will set an example for young ones. They can kill and get away with it.
