seeing those doors open was the best...my son had his PIR 2/19/2026. he stayed in Chicago for 7 months after for his A school which kept getting delayed...he came home on 9/10 and left on 10/2 for his first station to japan 🇯🇵where he will be for 4 years.

We were lucky enough to live 3 hrs from there and went up every other weekend.. then he went down to Panama City for 6 months so we went down twice.. he just left for home base in Hawaii.. I am already planning a trip! And I am just the grandma 🇺🇸

Our son is stationed at Ft Drum, NY. We are in WV. He had a 4 day weekend and came home. I haven’t seen him since Easter.

I remember when I saw my mom, after I found her in the crowd at my graduation. That is a moment your son is going to hold onto during deployments. That is by far my favorite memory with my mom. I never cried so hard at feeling so proud and so seen. Hugging my dad was the same feeling. Thankful for your son and your husbands service! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
