A Kyoto restaurant with a ONE-YEAR waitlist is bringing its food to NYC—and sushi isn’t the headline. 🇯🇵 Chef Nakago Matsumoto of Kyoto’s Yoshoku Nakago is bringing Japanese comfort food to THE GALLERY by Odo in Flatiron for a limited residency. The menu includes crispy beef-and-pork menchikatsu with house demi-glace, Japanese hamburger steak, fried shrimp with homemade tartar sauce, and sweet corn soup with namafu—fresh wheat gluten from Kyoto.
