That's how we are as human beings. We never listen when the pot dies. We only sit down and listen to the stories of strong men who made it in life, forgetting those who did the same things but never succeeded. Sometimes, the question shouldn't only be, "How did he make it?" Perhaps we should also ask, "Why didn't the other man make it?" But we rarely ask that question. Their stories are never told, their struggles are never studied, and their mistakes are never analyzed. Why? Because people love success stories, but few are willing to read the stories of failure. We celebrate the man who reached the top, but we ignore the hundreds who climbed the same mountain and fell along the way. Yet, sometimes, the greatest lessons in life are hidden in the stories nobody wants to tell.
