Her name is 猪五花 (Pork Belly), and she turned 5 this May. She’s a seal point Devon Rex currently living in the US. She also has a little brother, 猪小肠 (Changchang), who’s the same breed and almost the same age. Sometimes they fight, sometimes they’re best friends. They were both born with nystagmus, so their eyes naturally move back and forth. We keep monitoring it in case it’s related to any neurological issues. I didn’t have her as a kitten. She was about 1 year and 7 months old when I met her. She was a breeding cat and had already had 3 litters by then. Being bred too young and too frequently took a toll on her body. She developed several egg-sized mammary lumps. After surgery and a biopsy, she spent 10 days in the hospital and came home with a 20-inch scar. Thankfully, no cancer. She’s doing great now. She eats a lot, yells a lot, and we sometimes go on adventures together. The only thing is that she has trouble gaining weight. Even at 5, she’s only about 6.2 lbs (2.8 kg). Very tiny. I also shared some photos of what she looks like from different angles when I take her big-head pics. I didn’t train her to pose like that. She just loves lying in that position. I fold her ears back to make her look funny, and sometimes position her paws so they look symmetrical. I also take all these photos with my phone upside down, which creates a little lens distortion and makes her look even sillier. Thank you for reading! If there’s anything else you’d like to know about her, feel free to ask in the comments! #fyp #catsoftiktok #devonrex #猫 #cat
