@seandaustin: Tonight, I'm here in Kure Beach, North Carolina, in the area surrounding the historic Fort Fisher, a location with a dark and tragic past dating back to the Civil War. In January of 1865, Fort Fisher became the site of one of the largest amphibious assaults of the Civil War. Thousands of Union troops, supported by nearly 60 warships, launched a massive attack against this Confederate stronghold, which played a crucial role in protecting the port of Wilmington. The battle resulted in hundreds of deaths and thousands of casualties before the fort ultimately fell to Union forces. Over the years, there have been stories and reports of paranormal activity associated with Fort Fisher and the surrounding area, including apparitions believed to be Civil War soldiers, shadow figures, disembodied voices, unexplained footsteps, and even the distant sounds of battle. Some visitors have also described an unsettling feeling of being watched. With so much bloodshed, death, and suffering connected to this historic location, I can't help but wonder whether something from the past could still be lingering in the surrounding area today. Tonight, we'll be conducting our paranormal investigation along the nearby beach, not far from where this historic battle took place, to see what kind of activity we may experience and what evidence, if any, we can capture.
