@cybersecuredad: 🚨 Deleting an app off your kid's iPhone doesn't get rid of it. One tap on the cloud icon and it's back. Here's why deleting fails. Once an app's been downloaded, it lives in your kid's App Store purchase history for good. Reinstalling it counts as a redownload, and Apple's own support page says parents don't get an Ask to Buy request for that. iOS 27 adds a cleaner option. Block the app instead. It stays on the phone, dimmed, and your kid can't open it. Before you start: ✅ Update every device in your Family Sharing group to iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27, ✅ Run the parental controls update for each kid. The new controls wait for that step. Older devices that can't update keep the iOS 26 Screen Time settings, so the new tools won't show up. 📱 To block an app: ✅ Settings, then Screen Time ✅ Tap Family, then your kid's name ✅ Tap Apps and Websites ✅ Find the app in the Approved list and tap Block App And always remember the most important part of keeping your kid safe online: the conversation. Let them be a part of it and help them understand the why. 📌 Save this for setup and send it to a parent who's still deleting apps. 🙌 I post this so you don't have to go hunting for it.
