So lived about 20 mins from here. Been up and down wolf creek several times. The police DO NOT respond to anything after dark in wolf creek. The first time I drove that road I had no idea about it's history or stories. The first time I came up from Grants Pass to go to the river and go hiking and that was totally fine, where I messed up was taking the "short cut" back to I-5 through wolf creek near dusk. Let's just say that there are a lot of N@Zi flags on that road and I did get blocked in from the opposite direction with a truck parking sideways blocking me from going forward. One of the men walked up to my truck and asked me why I was driving thru here and didn't I know it wasn't safe". I told him that I had just moved nearby from Alaska and his face softened. I am a white blonde haired woman and that's the only reason he let me leave (alive). That truck was full of at least 3 more skin head men with a rifle on the back rack and a few handguns on the dashboard. I NEVER drove that road ever again past the river between I-5. People disappear in wolf creek every year. It is absolutely NOT safe to drive that area of woods if you are a person of color which is soooo FKd up. Also the gas station off the freeway in wolf creek on the east side closer to Sunnyside has a basement with multiple hand chains...like old metal handcuffs attached with chains to the wall and there is a lock 🔒 on the door to the basement. Let's just say I also never went back to that convenience store for a soda ever again. 💯💀

My friend was murdered and dumped in wolf creek by her boyfriend and his friend. They didn’t find her body until it was already just skeletal remains. She was beautiful and this world was cruel to her. rest in peace Courtney

You don’t wander in wolf creek. You don’t drive down random roads. The people out there have ways of making people disappear

this is random and not same situation but still creepy. but in washington when i was like 17 my mom was driving me to meet my friends at a hidden river spot. this river spot was up forest roads. we drove on this dirt gravel road for like maybe 30 mins or longer then reached a fork in the road. we were in the 4runner so we also weren’t going slow, we were pretty deep into the forest. my gps stopped working and we went the wrong way at the fork. it was a one way road no good spots to turn around and we arrived at a gate maybe 20 minutes later. The gate OPENED. we went in and there were multiple small homes. like some kind of community and EVERYONE came outside and was just staring at us. literally everyone came outside there front doors just watching us. We found a spot to turn around and started driving back to the gate. we sat there for a few minutes and it wouldn’t open. maybe 5 mins sitting there me and my mom were quietly calmly talking to each other about how weird and creeped out we were and a kind of plan on what to do if smth happened when i exclaimed (my young dumb self) that i was just gonna ask someone to open the gate. I started getting out of the car took a few steps and finally the gate opened. Also the main road thru the mountains around this area we always saw weird things hanging in the woods. Like purge like masks, right leaning political signs, and stuff. idk wtf that was tho but it was srsly creepy. our theory is some kind cult but idk

I was driving thru rural oregon and found a whole horse on the side of the road with its head ripped completely off its body. couldve been a predator, but whatever it was overtook that horse and completely stole its head. head nowhere to be found.

Ok i am black & i drove up the Oregon coast from Willamette & got scared a lot going through the rural areas because my GPS barely worked- i felt eerie the whole time & my family is from the country in Alabama so im used to it but this was different- it was beautiful when I got to the coast but maybe I shouldn’t do that again haha

They have ways of making people disappear. I grew up 10 mins from there and we would stop for gas but DO NOT RECOMMEND even stopping for gas anymore if you can make it to the next exit.

Definitely some type of drug being produced. It’s common in Oregon and my dad would drive us up to a town about 50 min from me and explore back roads into the mountains a lot growing up. I remember one time we ran into someone walking and he waved my dad down so we stopped and he said do not go down any roads once the gravel ends and to turn around. My dad thanked him and we didn’t even continue that direction. 😬

Was homeless for many years in Oregon as a teen. 2001-2007 range. Most of wild Oregon is not for the faint of heart. The wildlife is one thing.. people are another. I didn’t do the city homeless route like many do, I stuck to the great outdoors with campsites I made. I soon learned that being essentially invisible while camping was my best option. People are finicky about people in the wild. Some of the nicest people and some of the worse people I know come from the area in this video.. I survived but it still haunts me. I’ll have a love/hate with Oregon forever because of it.

Holy crap, yes!!! They don't have any law enforcement in that area outside of bank hours. My husband, his brother, and myself were hired to camp at a few logging sites as firewatch in 2018. I'll leave it at that for now and DM the story in because its a bit long for a comment.

I live 20 miles from wolf Creek, and I’d rather run out of gas on the freeway than get off on the Wolf Creek exit for gas.
