i have the xe5 it’s my first ever camera and i use it for video and photography it’s literally so easy to carry and doesn’t intimidate me or others :p plus the recipes are easy to use and you don’t need to color grade if ur just shooting simple things! (u could also literally color grade with recipes for each scene if its a personal project and if not it shoots in log so no worries if u need to do that) Idk my camera captures my feeling more than my eyes do sooo

Cannon ae-1 program film (shot on manual) forget that get yourself a decent film camera and a good film stock. It’s cheaper at the start and you learn so much more. I have an Sony a7iii and a fx3 that I used daily for work but film has made me fall in love with photography all over again

Fuji and Canon professional here. Fujifilm generally has better jpegs straight out of camera and better video features for this current line, plus third party glass. Canon generally has better AF and is more reliable for work on the pro body side. If you're working, another Canon lens is probably smarter. If it's for personal use, I'd go with a current gen Fujifilm or wait a few weeks for the X-T6.
