SGM :

john stewart hasn't saved a single person in this show. Hal saved him when they were about to get killed with last bit of power he had, he saved his parents, he saved people in the city that hates him, saved him and Kerry from the alien that blew himself up. And even without a ring and a lantern, Hal stole Noah's portal and prevented him to get access to sinestro or another planet, shutting down the plan he had for him and he got killed after. Then you got Guy Gardner who created the justice gang on earth to save people there. John is not hero, not even a superhero despite what they are saying. he is least heroic person out those so called cops

Guy this was my favourite part of the show I really liked his oath

Mello :

John in the comics is an activist. He is always the first to speak against the Gaurdians and helped in purging them from the corp. Thus show is just another example of Tom King having a pity party about his involvement in the Iraq War. This show is a good show. Bit as an adaptation of GL its terrible. Green Lanterns arnt even cops. Their diplomats, peace keepers, and disaster relief. The Green Lanterns cant even kill people. And it ends with John using a battery powered by fear, the tool of oppression.

vcq4z :

Na he was the villain, dug up a corpse, stole a green lantern ring, stole a forged lantern, then took someone’s job and told them to get lost
