The accusations came to light after a teacher noticed visible injuries on her face and contacted authorities. According to court documents, the teenager alleges that her father struck her in the face with her own cellphone, leaving bruises, cuts, and blood. She also accused him of sexually assaulting her. Investigators reportedly recovered physical evidence, including bloody paper towels and other items consistent with portions of her account. And perhaps one of the most heartbreaking allegations involves her mother, Heather, who is accused of knowing about the physical abuse, failing to protect her daughter, and attempting to conceal her injuries rather than getting her help. Both parents have been arrested and subsequently released on bond. Seth faces charges involving injury to a child and sexual assault of a child, while Heather faces a charge of injury to a child by omission.
