@whitney.07.27.22: The kind of morning you don’t plan for as a medical mama. 🥺❤️ Emma Kate’s G-tube came out while she was sleeping, and when I went to replace it, the opening had gotten too small. We had to go to the doctor’s office to have the opening dilated so her tube could be replaced, and then we headed to the hospital for an X-ray to check its placement. I only managed to get a few picture through it all, because making sure my girl was okay came first. ❤️ This is a side of being a G-tube mama that people don’t always see. The unexpected moments, the extra appointments, the worry, and all the things we learn along the way. It’s not always easy, but I’ll always be right beside my girl through every step of her journey.
