Pine★ppleBønes :

it all eventually leads to god

Fence Sitting Dork☪️☯️🔯✝️ :

Just watch dean withers and you are all set for wisdom

♫⃠🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Emolarp🌱♫⃠ :

saving this knowing fully that I can't read

djmk :

My main critique of these videos is that they completely fail to acknowledge that there is still more to discover. It reminds me of how philosophy was taught in my school days. Ironically, they teach you what historical figures thought and how they reasoned, but they place no value on individual perspectives. It implies that your voice only matters once you have mastered existing dogma. However, the danger of forcing oneself to absorb all prior teachings is that you inevitably adopt their constraints, losing the independent insights you possessed before entering their ideological framework. Consequently, you are prevented from developing advanced concepts because you are confined to conclusions reached long ago. Ultimately, this academic environment mirrors a rigid religious setting heavily dictated by cultural conformity.

Voyager 2 :

what if you don't read anything and just wonder? wonder about yourself form other's places, desires and life. the writers wrote the books by wondering and finding answers or leaving it up to the readers to wonder about it

okay30002 :

Can you recommend more books written by women? I caught the last two but I’d like to hear more about women’s effect on philosophy.

milkborea ゼロ :

naa blud reading tokyo ghoul and watching monogatari is enough

OCDdude :

and about Hegel?

DrSmeg :

Good video but something about it made me feel like the guy in the good will hunting bar scene getting eviscerated “you’ll be convinced of that until next semester when you’re in here regurgitating Gordon wood talking about the pre-revolutionary utopia capital forming effects of military mobilisation”

Pornelius Hubert :

ooblogon :

Where’s Hegel

One Trim of Plum Blossom' :

I've actually read about half of these but not as systematic.... just because I was bored

potato :

is there a great book that summarizes all this?

شَكْشُوكةْ😛😛 :

the funny thing is you’ll find people saying “it eventually leads to god” and at the same time you’ll find others say “it eventually leads away from god.” The thing is, they are all true. (even though most people who make these comments didn’t touch a book)

waridii💕🐨🐼 :

my brain is crying bc these books seem like brain candy so yum for the mind but I'll never know bc I don't read enough.✨

Callahan :

Just skip everything and go straight to absurdism
