had h pylori for 2 years and my boyfriend didn't not get it or my kids , h pylori gave me leacky gut them leacky gut gave me hashimoto all my hair fell out them sibo and candida all this while dealing with menopause, 5 yrs of hell , them 6 months later got h pylori again, i am 90 pounds now

My aunt had it and I had no symptoms but because I have a small amount of hypochondria- I asked to be tested. I had no symptoms. I tested positive!

I had H. pylori twice and antibiotics different ones twice and now I gotta go back and get tested and you also have to go on a special diet after your antibiotics. They didn’t tell me that.

Hp loryi was honestly the worst thing that I went through. It gave me a gastric ulcer and that thing is honestly Soemthing that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. The pain was unbearable, and it sucked because I was going through all of this right after I jsut got married when I could’ve dealt this before I got married and I was complaining to my pediatrician about what I’m experiencing and she didn’t give a flying f she just said don’t eat food that you stomach can’t tolerate and because of hp loryi I have gluten allergic and also on top of that diary allergy. Literally the moment I got married I went to a different family doctor and omg he literally instantly knew what was wrong with me I honestly can’t thank him enough because so many trips to the hospital and nothing worked. I really hope people educate themselves about hp loryi and get tested because a lot of people have it and don’t realize it. It can literally cause stomach cancer if not treated.

having Hpylori doesn't necessarily mean it's active.and I wouldn't recommend the antibiotics treatment when it's not active. But I get you, the wife's Hpylori is active.

almost all the population has h pylori but when you have low stomach acid etc h pylori can multiply and cause problems

No, they don't need to be unless they have symptoms. I've had it twice for months and he didnt get it. He was tested for another reason years later and didn't have it.

I had h pylori and cdiff. refused to treat the h pylori as it could have given me the cdiff back. Just tested via endoscopy and was negative now after 7yrs 🤷♀️
