Waiting for the 🌎 to change :
Its not just the fish, its to ensure our environment and climate are protected. A lot of the people with water rights divert to storage where it disappears and evaporates. The fish, the environment and our use need to be protected and the use has to be reasonable.

Selling water for profit should have a limit. We are not talking about people going thirsty. We are talking about rich people making more money. Bring back the Kern!

Look at the river historically the river would dry up in late summer. If the dam wasn’t there the valley would flood in the spring and dry up during the summer.

Considering 86% of water use is AG use .. and over the last few decades private equity companies began purchasing and then Consolidating AG water rights and are now selling those rights for profit .. if you ask me we need to radically change water “rights” laws and ask ourselves if this new “profit over people” model works in our best interest when it’s a critical resource necessary for life, like water
