Before Allah said remind, He showed you what a reminder needs to look like. Ousama Alshurafa unpacks one of the most beautiful and overlooked connections in Surah Al-Ghashiyah. Allah draws attention to four signs in creation, the camel, the sky, the mountains, and the earth. And then immediately after He says: so remind, for you are only a reminder. That sequence is not accidental. Those four signs are the qualities of the da'i. The camel represents perseverance. An animal built for the longest and most difficult journeys, carrying weight without complaint across terrain that would break almost anything else. The person calling to Allah must carry that same endurance. The sky represents high aspirations. Your vision has to be elevated. Your hope for people cannot be small or limited by what seems realistic right now. The mountains represent steadfastness. Rooted. Immovable. Not shaken by criticism, pressure, or the slow pace of results. And then the earth. Humble beyond what most of us are comfortable with. The earth takes the weight of everything, the king and the pauper, the believer and the disbeliever, everyone with their shoes and their burdens and their mess. And it never complains. It never says enough. It holds it all. That is the da'i. Not just someone who speaks about Islam but someone who has become, through their character, a living invitation to it. . #Muslimi #OusamaAlshurafa #Dawah #IslamicCharacter #IslamicReminder
