What’s crazy is at least currently I don’t see a path for Luka to win a ring in LA. OKC and San Antonio are just so far ahead of the field in the West to me. I hope I’m wrong though because Luka rules and I want to see him win, but he needs a certain archetype of team around him (just like he had in Dallas a lot of solid wing defender pieces, good center rotation, and a good co-star). LA feels like it’s getting there (I have high hopes for Kessler and have always liked Reaves) but all the other supporting pieces/role players around the core 3 just aren’t enough in my opinion.

It’s funny I was one of those people that hoped/thought LeBron would go back to Cleveland but I’m glad he chose Philly because I do think the potential ceiling with that team is just so insanely high you have to try it. With Embiid’s injury history their floor is also potentially low/scary but if the health does work out, on paper I think they can beat anybody in the ‘yoffs
