Also just read it’s better to use the keys in a hammer grip rather than between your fingers. I was always taught the other way but makes sense why hammer grip would be better!

the one problem I have is the key thing the real life in a real situation please don't actually do that because your keys are going to move they're either going to break or they're going to break your finger don't do that but everything else is pretty good

I lock my car doors the second after I get in because of one time when I got in my car at a gas station and a man immediately pulled on my passenger side door handle. I got lucky that time bc I didn’t click the unlock button twice. On my car, clicking unlock once only unlocks the driver door. Twice unlocks all doors.

Keeping your purse and keys by an entrance is also super dangerous. Someone gets in they have the keys to your car along with a wallet that has ID and credit cards

I’m on a college campus. I keep my key on a lanyard that has a detachable buckle I also have my Id on there in case I need to leave identification behind. I have a beepy alarm. I look never hold the door open from the outside for anyone in case they don’t actually live in the building. If they live in the building 1 they would be a woman and 2 they would have key
