I've done a lot of uber here in this town. the only time i've had an issue driving through there on weekend nights is because of the drunk people not paying attention. nothing to do with lighting or anything else

Oh man!!! Did they just put those new bars there? I have never heard of them. Up and coming? I lived just off the intersection. Are we asking drivers to not pay attention while driving? Make a pick up zone for uber just off 14th.

Block off 14th between Tennessee and Ohio after 8pm and add better street light. No reason you need thru traffic E/W that time of night. Still would allow Ubers to pick up and drop off.

I cross there at night a lot and it’s actually not that bad. Sometimes I might be over-served and a car may be driving too fast down the hill but I just try to hop across the street like a rabbit. The up and down movement catches the drivers eyes and they usually honk and laugh at me as they pass. Hop on the trend jayhawks!
