You will be disappointed that none of the movies or shows compare to the book! Only thing close is the original movie!

I'm loving the series it's the closest thing to the book. The opening sequence was brutally beautiful. I'm disappointed lillards character didn't bring up his past with Margaret as of yet but I'm on episode 3 where the councilor just showed carry the library. Billy's character is surprising because of the twist in age not in the book. I'm terrified to see if they show how brutal Billy is with Chris. I'm looking forward to see if Margaret dies mercifully beautiful like in the book or how what will happen!!!! Chefs kiss with tons of tears and goosebumps. The bullying was much more brutal in the book and the coach is tame compared to the book. The dads appearance was a shock but whatever. I finished the book last week. ❤️
