Welcome home to the Lincoln sailors. The family doesn’t sign up for the military, but they carry it anyway. Single parents spent nearly 11 months holding everything together while these sailors were gone, including a record stretch of more than 260 days straight at sea with no port call. They were in harm’s way against a threat the Navy has not faced in warfare before: ballistic missiles, on top of drones and cruise missiles, during combat operations in the Middle East. Glad every one of them made it home. Honor, Courage, Commitment.
