I decided anything that’s happening before the actual day of the wedding (dress, alterations, save the dates/invites) just simply isn’t getting counted in the budget. I’m mindful but just going to try to ignore it 🫠

I’m confused. What do you mean 5 hours? How is your wedding only 5 hours at this price point. Our venue, food, and alcohol is coming in at $53k, but it’s a 9.5 hour event!

I thought this was the average wedding venue price too but I just kept searching forever (I hated it) but I secured a beautiful Tuscany inspired venue in Los Angeles for $3500 that comes with tables and linens etc so it can be done. You have to find the newer venues that charge cheaper, the popular ones charge an arm and a leg

Girl don’t feel bad, we literally just found a location for the ceremony, we doing the reception at a restaurant, i refuse to put that kind of money out that’s a lot

The venues are ripping people off. Like yeah this is a luxury wedding cost. You can easily Find a $7k venue that lets you bring in your own vendors. Mission bbq catering is like 5 grand for 130 people. Just an example

Any traditional venue you’re banking 30-50 k starting before music, service food & all that. With at least 150-350 a plate cost in NJ. Non traditional look into porta, water witch in highlands those vibes .. also have to think of bringing in costs. The industry is getting crazy 😅
