@timeless.mysteries6: Parker Young Teases an Unusual Age Gap Romance in New Comedy Eternally Yours Actor Parker Young is sharing details about his role in the CBS comedy Eternally Yours. In the show, the 38-year-old actor plays Jesse, a nearly 200-year-old vampire who works as a personal trainer. His character has been married to his human wife, Phyllis, played by Rose Abdoo, since 1985. Young pointed out the unique relationship dynamic, noting that even though his character is more than a century older, his human wife looks like she could be his mother. According to Young, his character intentionally marries humans instead of other vampires to avoid getting trapped in a loveless eternal relationship after watching his vampire sister bicker with her husband for centuries. He explained that his character believes love is special specifically because human life is finite and temporary. However, the relationship comes with a major twist: Phyllis has no idea her husband is a vampire, or that their twin sons are half-vampire, because the family constantly wipes her memory. Young, who is a father of three in real life, shared that playing a loving dad to half-vampire twins is one of his favorite parts of the role.
