Taking in consideration the world we live in today, where women want equality men have found it very hard to offer any help when the majority of the time it’s shunned. Just saying! Not necessarily to your situation! I do agree that it wasn’t cool but there are so many factors!! Hell I’m single because I’m afraid to even approach a woman in fear of giving the wrong impression.

In Arizona, Law Enforcement doesn’t do anything unless they have to…they just chase the radio and until then, they go and find church parking lots to hide in👎🏻

Last month from the rain, I hydroplane getting onto the freeway and crashed into the chain-link fence fences that line the sides of the on-ramps. I had over 30 cars past me and I was on hold with 911 through their nonemergency line because I didn’t crash with anyone else. I was out of the way of other vehicles and I wasn’t severely injured. A state trooper came by checked on me, got my information, gave me a ticket for failure to control my vehicle, and then was trying to force me to have my car impounded in Phoenix and to get it out of the impound is around a $300-500 fine. That was my first accident ever so I was really freaked out and he kept yelling at me to calm the fuck down. He also didn’t have his body cam on at all until my boyfriend showed up to the scene to check on me to see if I was OK. As soon as my boyfriend showed up we were asking him if we can get assistance to get back onto the highway, and he just left so him and I had to figure out how to get my car and his car off of the side of the on-ramp with about 15 cars every minute getting on the freeway, in the rain.

I was at the QT on Crismon one night. I had to get fuel on my way to the hospital where my husband was taken by ambulance. And just my luck my truck wouldn’t start, I asked 2 different mcso officers if they had jumper cables or could help me. I was in pure panic. “No, I can’t” “no, don’t carry cables” as they walked away!! I ended up calling a family member to come rescue me. What a lovely time for an alternator to take a shit!! Cables wouldn’t have made a difference in my situation but damn!!! They were rude and acted like I was asking them for money.

Back in the day, they would have stopped to help...they knew they were public service, they may not have changed your tire but they would have called someone out for you and made sure you were okay. Older generations in these roles have retired or passed on. The kids are running the show today and have really changed things up for sure...noone wants to lift a finger, cause 'it's not their thing'....Glad you ladies are safe! 🙏

It’s up to us, babe! They would’ve given you a ticket anyway. I saw a woman with her baby broke down near Buckeye. So hot out. I let her and the baby cool off in my truck while she told me she was from PHX and trying to go to CA to see family. I called my husband who brought his truck and trailer and towed her car back to PHX for no money. Just the karma.

Similar issue in pinal county for me! My daughter accidentally locked the keys in my jeep. I was 6 months visibly pregnant and we walked across hunt highway because we saw two patrol vehicles in parking lot chatting. We asked if they could help get our keys out and they said due to liability they couldn’t but if we called the fire department they might. My cell phone was locked in my car as well and I told them that and they told me and my 13 year old daughter we could WALK in JULY to the fire department. No offer to call for us, no offer to give us a ride, nothing! Went to the car wash in the same parking lot and they said they would help because people do it all the time there while vacuuming their cars.

I’m sorry though but that’s not what they are there for. They are there yes to help when there’s an actual emergency. Most of us have roadside assistance. AZ sucks when it comes to weather and how some drive. But me as a person who’s driving by won’t stop I have a child in my car and anything can happen. Even if I’m alone. There’s so many stories happening even during the day and even by woman. Where woman can help s3x traffickers. So it’s not against you. We are all human and we’d like to help but the situation can be played two ways. Nothing happens and ur a good person or you aren’t. And some of us play it safe. And some don’t. And some have places to go for example work and need to be on time. Sorry you were under that heat and glad someone did stop.

the lugs have to be that tight. Just pointing that out. that wasn't done by a tire shop to be mean or lazy its for safety to ensure your tire stays on. I wonder if now you didnt put the lugs on tight enough. you should go get that looked at before you get in an accident.
