This was my basal cell in Dec 2022. My daughter (27) noticed it in 2019. Then the pandemic hit I left it alone. He said if I would have waited another yr he would have had to cut down the side of my nose.

had a small pearly pimple like bump on my cheek near my nose for a very long time. It wasn't going away, so I brought it up with my GP and all he did was use liquid nitrogen to remove it 🤷♀️No idea what he thought it was, but it's gone now, with a tiny little scar in it's place.

I had cancer on my eyebrow during covid and I was told that it would take up to a year to see a dermatologist. I sent a couple pictures to my family physician and within 2 hours she called me and said that I definitely needed it looked at. I told her to find a dermatologist that could take me sooner than a year and I don't care if I had to drive for hours. I received a phone call from a clinic within 2 weeks. The dermatologist cut it out and cauterize it, 2 weeks later and another visit to the clinic I was told it was cancer and they had clean edges so she got it all. The cancer I had was called Keratoacanthoma on Nov 10 2020.

Dermatology MA here. Pearly papule sounds like a typical basal cell carcinoma. Anytime there’s a skin cancer on your face. We do what’s called a Mohs surgery, unless it’s superficial in which case the chemo cream can work Mohs is a skin sparing surgery that removes skin cancer bit by bit until we’re sure we’ve gotten all of it without taking too much extra skin as we would with a general excision on say an arm or your back where there’s plenty of extra tissue to take margins . It can be a little startling when you see the end results because there can be a lot of sutures. But in the end, it generally heals up very well. The face is a great healer.

I had same thing but went to a dr here and she froze it .. she shouldn’t have fucking touched it! It grew so fast in one day. I had to rush to the dermatologist and he had cut it off and sent it off. 3 weeks later went to Salt Lake City Utah and had it all cut out.

I had a pimple spot for the last year it would heal then out the blue open up and bleed . It was a little pearly also by my lip . I made a dermatologist appointment and had a biopsy done , I just received the call that it is Basal cell carcinoma and I have a date in December scheduled to have Moh’s surgery .
