@iisha_8: Changing my life one day at a time! It’s still a work in progress… This journey has never just been about the physical transformation. It’s about prioritizing my health, showing up for myself, finding joy in movement, building better habits, and finally feeling GOOD from the inside out. I’m learning that progress isn’t linear, healing takes time, and taking care of yourself is one of the greatest forms of self-love. I don’t have it all figured out, but I’m happier, healthier, and so proud of how far I’ve come. 🥹 I’m no longer chasing a version of myself that looks a certain way. I’m building a life where I feel good, have more energy, and genuinely enjoy the person I’m becoming. A reminder that you don’t have to change your entire life overnight. You just have to start choosing yourself, one day at a time. 🫶🏼 #fyp

This is beautiful and you should be extremely proud of yourself! However it’s very reductive to women struggling to say they just need discipline/a lifestyle change. PCOS is a spectrum and it affects all women very very differently. You can/absolutely should celebrate your amazing achievements but it shouldn’t come at the cost of saying it’s simply about self discipline when millions of women have tried everything you’re doing and still failed.

As an OBGYN…you right 👀 reverse that insulin resistance through weight lifting, cardio and dietary changes. You’ve gotta do the WERK.

Anyone can lose weight with discipline. Weight loss is generally tough; don’t let anyone say PCOS makes it impossible – you can always succeed. Congratulations, keep pushing and thriving! I’m rooting for you – all love from one stranger to another.

Actually it's not lifestyle. Many many females eat correctly and healthy, lift and strength train but pick up more weight. Many suffer with anxiety and depression which limits their ability to live that healthy lifestyle. Every pcos girlie is different. For some weight loss is easier than others

it's good to celebrate your achievements but at the same time consider that every females body is different especially with pcos! please don't go about discrediting others to feed of your narrative

i feel like people give up before they even get the chance to see real progress. it is very hard work working out, you gotta do it even if your goal isn’t losing weight, that’s just maintenance imo
