@buzzingforhorror: I AM SO READY 😮‍💨🍿 Produced by A24 and created by Brad Caleb Kane, ‘Crystal Lake’ is an eight-episode prequel series that explores the origins of Pamela Voorhees, played by Linda Cardellini. Set in the 1970s, the story follows Pam as she struggles with the grief of losing her young son, Jason, in a tragic drowning accident. But when two strangers arrive digging into her past, disturbing secrets begin to surface, setting the stage for one of horror’s most infamous killers. With Cardellini taking on the role of Jason’s mother and legendary special effects artist Tom Savini contributing to the series’ horror, ‘Crystal Lake’ has the potential to give fans a terrifying new perspective on a franchise that has endured for more than four decades. All eight episodes premiere October 15 on Peacock, making this one of the biggest horror releases of the month. #CrystalLake #FridayThe13th #JasonVoorhees #HorrorMovies #HorrorTV

I have zero anticipation for this. Idk who thought this was a good idea but Jason is our Friday the 13th star. I skip the first movie because he isn’t even in it. Part 2 is where the movies start for me. Now there’s a whole ass series on the one who wqs just crazy.
