Your sitting in traffic just to travel 8 miles. Burning gas that's too expensive to afford. So ask yourself, has your life improved in those 15 years? A former House Speaker was convicted on federal corruption charges and sentenced to three years. Then he was pardoned by the president. GOP lawmakers called a special session to redraw the maps and carve up Memphis’ representation. They picked their voters before you could pick them. When I stood on my desk to protest, they punished me. They stripped my committees and cut my pay. That’s not a government working for you. It’s a radical regime protecting itself and whatever corporate donor writes the biggest check. Follow the money. It always tells the truth. We won't get Medicaid expansion, taxes cut on groceries, or legalized marijuana. Not with this rigged and corrupt legislature. When none of the politicians can lose, nobody has to listen to you.
