My mom was deathly afraid of dogs because of an incident in her childhood, and then my dad passed away 5 years ago. She said she was done living in fear and she would volunteer at our rescue center. And little by little she became to trust again just like the dogs did. And 8 months later she came home with her own GREAT DANE. She now has 2 and they just lay on her like a weighted a blanket 😂

I love this. So many people have such incredible fear of big dogs as adults dude to childhood trauma of bad dog owners. When I was little I got attacked by a German shepherd and I was terrified of them ever since. And then when I was a teenager my old neighbor got sick and my mom agreed to take care of his dog while he was in the hospital.

Have I been bit by a big dog yes. Will I also ask to pet every dog and then sit down on the floor and love them. ALSO YES. Those ears look so soft and I hope it helped her cure some fear in her. The biggest dogs are the sweetest babies
