One night I was closing up the gas station, as I normally do. I was outside grabbing the squeegees when I stopped to help a customer with buying their gas. As soon as I finish with that, an old lady pulls up next to me in her SUV. Now, I’ve had problems with this lady before. She’s been rude and racist to me and other customers before. Anyway, she rolls down her window and asks “Are y’all closed?” I pull out my phone and check the time, 8:49. I say “Yes ma’am, we are. I’ve already counted the cash and closed down the register.” She gets all pissy and opens her door to get out with a wad of cash and says “You close at nine. I always get gas here at nine.” I tell her that we are supposed to start closing at 8:45 and be fully shut down and out of there by 9. But some people wait longer. I do not. Then she tells me “Well you need to close at nine, boy.” And then gets in her vehicle and drives away. I genuinely hate this woman.

i was doing open, the door was mostly down and some lady stuck her head under the roller and started tapping on the glass and said "do you have milk?" i said "we open in 15 minutes", she said "but i only want milk", i said "i havnt even turned the tills on yet", she said "how long will take take?", i said "about 15 minutes". she said "but its only milk" and i said "then come back in 15 and you can get it" she huffed and walked off. She didnt come back. im assuming she went somewhere else for her milk, but given we arw the first place to open in town by over an hour, she probably drove to the next town over. Thats a 20min ea way drive... so who knows.

Customer walked in 30 minutes before open when we were doing cash, lights off and only myself on the floor. “When do you open?” - “… the same time as the rest of the mall?”

When they say they spent six hours with Apple over their password,, it means they were helped to start recovery within about 10 minutes in the midst of them yapping and yapping, making it take 30 and then they’re told they have to wait four days for an update, so they keep calling back in over and over, wanting someone to shorten it, which can’t be done they were helped just don’t like the process

Years ago at my old retail job... myself and another girl had closed up for the night. Out the doors, locked and lights off and I was getting into my car... this car pulls up and parks out front. Even with a few 'No's from us.. "Can you guys open it, we'll be quick?"..... 💀💀

6 hours on the phone with Apple for a password issue? Resetting a password shouldn’t take more than 15-20 minutes on a bad day. Even technologically incompetent people can get it done in 30-45. Someone is exaggerating and probably got stuck in account recovery.
