This is where Ash Dykes has chosen to take on his expedition. Make no mistake, the Sangha is dangerous. It is remote, hard to reach, and home to wildlife like crocodiles and hippos, with help often far away. But it is not the beast that the Congo River is. The Congo is the deepest river in the world, carries a massive volume of water, and has violent rapids like Livingstone Falls that have claimed lives for centuries.
