@buzzingforhorror: Are you seeing ‘Other Mommy’ this weekend? 💭👀 ‘Other Mommy’ wastes absolutely no time getting under your skin. The opening scene immediately introduces the terrifying idea at the center of Rob Savage’s horror film, with a young girl named Bela already familiar with the mysterious entity lurking in her home. The scariest part? This thing looks just like her mother, played by Jessica Chastain, but something about its presence feels deeply wrong. Instead of slowly building toward the nightmare, the movie throws audiences straight into its unsettling world, using the uncanny feeling of a familiar face behaving unnaturally to make the horror hit even harder. Based on Josh Malerman’s novel ‘Incidents Around the House,’ this opening sets the tone for a nightmare where the person who should make you feel safest might be the one you need to fear most. #OtherMommy #JessicaChastain #HorrorMovies #PsychologicalHorror #Blumhouse
