The Best Turkey Breast Recipe👇🏽 This is my take on the famous Texas-style smoked turkey. Juicy, smoky, peppery, with just the right touch of sweetness. Every bite melts in your mouth with that perfect balance of flavor and tenderness. Let’s be real, a lot of people don’t like turkey because it’s usually dry AF. But that’s only if you’re not cooking it right. The secret? 👉🏽 The rest. After smoking, I let the turkey rest in a warmer or insulated cooler for 1–2 hours, so it reabsorbs all those juices, locking in moisture for that juicy slice of heaven every single time. If you’ve never had smoked turkey like this, it’s time to change your mind. 💨🔥 Ingredients: • Large turkey breast • @Bear & Burton's w-sauce as a binder • My Cajun Honey Rub @tftibbqshop • @fiestaspices 16 mesh black pepper • @Melinda's Hot Sauce hot honey • Butter Instructions: 1. Fire up the smoker to 250-275F using post oak. 2. Remove the skin and any loose pieces of meat or fat. 3. Apply binder then season w/ Cajun Honey rub and a heavy coat of black pepper on both sides. 4. Fold under the thinner parts of the beast to protect them from drying out then place in the smoker. 5. Once the internal temperature reaches 160F remove from the smoker. 6. On a double layer of foil add a few pats of butter, drizzle of hot honey and a dusting of my Cajun Honey rub. Place the turkey top side down then add butter, honey and rub on the underside as well. 7. Wrap tightly and place into a warmer set to 140F for 1-2hrs or an insulated cooler with a towel over the turkey for 1-2hrs also. 8. After an hour or so remove and slice up the juiciest turkey you’ve ever had! 💯🤙🏽 Smoker: @TexasSmokeKing @mmbbqco Wood: @Cutting Edge Firewood Knives: @Montana Knife Co Warmer: @HeatMax Food Warmers #thanksgivingrecipes #turkey #smokedturkey #turkeybreast
