Accurate! We stayed at a Disney resort just as hurricane Matthew hit and once the storm passed, we decided to find a restaurant to have dinner. Perkins was open at limited menu and limited staff but we happily waited to be seated. Immediately noticed there were 2 servers in the entire place and no hostess or busser. Manager was preparing food and running orders. So as we waited to place an order, my cousin and I cleaned off tables. No joke - we cleaned every table on our side of the restaurant and reset them with cutlery and condiments. Manager insisted we had a free meal and sent us home with pie! Our server hugged us and said she now loves Canadians ๐. And of course, we tipped extremely well.

My hubby and I are always laughing when we go to the beaches down south because we watch weather religiously and the day we leave 5 hours into the trip and storms come on screen๐คฃโ ๏ธ๐ญ we laugh and say "The south knew i was coming" and said no salt therapy for you! and we keep going and enjoy being with each other ๐คทโโ๏ธone restaurant actually had employees dress up and do a "Rain dance" around me after telling them our luck..it was hilarious ๐

at least your boss's care and closed on the restaurant if this is from a true interaction. I believe it was Hurricane Ivan blew through my town and Walmart still made us work and we got flooded

I had a table complain that it was hot outside, mind you they came from the bowling alley across the street, probably were drunk, and sat on our patio for 30 minutes. Then got mad at me for it being hot OUTSIDE. I literally said "Oh I didn't know I controlled the weather"
