I had to learn how to quit turning down compliments and actually accept and agree with them. People would say something like "I like your shirt" and i would instinctively say something dismissive like "its basic" or "i just got it because it was cheap". Now I go "thank you, I like it too"

if it helps, start with neutral statements towards yourself then work up to like then love. Doing it this way really helped build the foundation for me, always remember you are worthy and you matter. I wish you healing on your journey💜💜
