Consistency breeds progress. 🏃🏽‍♀️✨ 4.5 miles of running, 4.68 miles total, and a whole lot of reasons to be proud. 🥹🤍 My last 4.5-mile run was HARD. Physically and mentally, I was questioning my life choices and wondering if I was even cut out for running. Today, I went out nervous about facing that distance again, and I finished feeling like I could have kept going. The difference was incredible. And it reminded me of something I want to carry with me in running and in life: Consistency breeds progress. Every run is different. Every run presents its own challenges. One hard run doesn’t determine how the next one will go, and one difficult season doesn’t define what’s possible for your future. My pace is still slow. I still have a long way to go and so many goals to reach. But I’m showing up, staying consistent, and proving to myself that I’m capable of things I once never imagined. Progress doesn’t require perfection. It requires persistence. It’s choosing not to give up on yourself when things get hard, trusting the process, and continuing to show up even when you question whether you’re capable of more. Because if I had given up after that last run, I wouldn’t have experienced the confidence and excitement I felt today. And now? Dare I say there may be a half marathon brewing in the future?! 🥹🏅 Keep showing up for yourself. Keep doing the hard things. Keep believing you’re capable of more. Consistency breeds progress. And you owe it to yourself to see just how far you can go. 🤍 #consistency #stravarun #Running #runningjourney #stravaedit
