I subbed a MS band class. I’m traumatised for ever. A kid got an accidental shoe to the eye and it blackened by the end of the period. They were running all over. One kid was playing the piano on full blast. The percussion were hitting every drum OFF BEAT. The saxophones LITERALLY got louder as the hours went on. I was threatening to sell them to the circus if they didn’t calm down.

When I subbed middle school I loved subbing for band & orchestra! The kids are so well behaved I just had to sit and listen to them play 🤷🏻♀️

I did this once. was asked if I could read sheet music. absolutely not. I took attendance and then they had the choir teacher come over [Laugh approved] easiest day ever.
