I hope the guy I rejected can come back so we can be friends again and maybe more. I know that if it happened right now I’d reject him again but I just want to be sure I could see him again later when im ready. I regret not opening up to him and not giving him the attention and consideration as friends he deserved. It’s a selfish request because I almost certainly hurt him maybe he thought I didn’t like him or didn’t consider him an important person and also the fact that I rejected him even though we had mutual feelings because I felt that until I dont have a good relationship with God and love myself enough I logically wouldn't be able to love someone else. I recently met the "perfect" person. We shared the same mindset and way of thinking , someone who truly different. I even felt like he was sent by God. And yet, I didn't feel that same feeling , so I rejected him. That’s when I realized that, despite the flaws of the former friend I mentioned, I love him. I knew he wasn't perfect and that I could find someone better, yet even after finding that "better" person, I kept thinking about him. That’s when I understood that true love means accepting a person exactly as they are. I still hope we can meet again, but if I'm wrong, it doesn't matter I know God has better plans for me.
