We can split beverages but if it has toppings the second drink won’t get it

I have been told as a shift for over 4 yrs that we are not allowed to split drinks. We can offer them an empty cup and lid on the side but I wonder if this is a location based option?

You need to state in your videos that some of these standards are new. Because you’re making us all look like the bad guys

When I worked at Starbucks… not a problem. Takes two extra seconds. These comments are not it.

Welp. this is new. They definitely came out about 4-5 years ago and told us we couldnt do that, but we can offer the empty cup and lid on the side. Thank you for sharing this!!!

When people were rude about it I would purposely fill one higher than the other so the kids can fight about who gets the one with more ❤️

Please do not ask to split the drinks between 6a-11:30a since it’s during peak hours

Dawg I’m not doing that. I’ll happily give you empty cups on the side and you can split it yourself. I’ve had customers start taking advantage of this, and start being rude and entitled about it extra this extra that, whip on this one not on that one… no.

Can we talk about when ppl order a sandwich but they don’t want it warmed - are we allowed? I always say no bc it’s a food safety concern

I thought it was not allowed but if they want a venti spilt into two talls they need to get two talls 🤔🤔 I’ve been a partner for 5 years and have always been told we need to give them the cups separate and they spilt it

do you know if this applies to “special beverages?” (unicorn /black cat) we had a lady ask us to split a unicorn and we told her no bc it was specialized and only available in grande sizing only 😔
