mine I paid for pro (10 bucks) as I was having issues with bitlocker and the PCR7 wasn't binding, didn't want to reinstall windows so I did that. now I'm messing with group edit and seeing what it can do but windows 11 home is good enough for most users.

I go Windows 10 LTSC IoT 2022. No bloatware, I can turn off all telemetry, all while keeping windows 10 and getting security updates until 2032!

22 years in IT and just recently I switched from pro to windows 11 iot enterprise ltsc. 0 bloatware bare bone windows 11 experience no microsoft store no Xbox app and no microsoft recall. you can still go to microsoft store on the web to download and install apps. Just wont be already pre installed. advantaged also are process list on task manager very low and ram usage for me was 0 after fresh install .

This is similar to those who purchase stuff like MacBook pros. They never use any of the features except for the upgraded display. Everything else will collect dust during the entire lifespan of the computer. You don’t need, nor will you ever use, the features of windows pro, so don’t waste the extra money on something that you are only getting because it has pro in the name. Get what suits what you are doing with your computer.
